Day 19 – When the Plan Meets Purpose

What I love most about having a plan is seeing it come to pass.”

There are moments in life when the plan aligns with God’s timing — and only then do we realize He was preparing us all along. My last day on my job was November 7, 2025. I didn’t choose that date… but God did. I sacrificed a lot. I endured some unwarranted disrespect and even moments that felt like abuse. What kept me going was a simple reminder from a friend:

Don’t let anyone mess with your money.”

That sentence helped me hold on while I saved, eliminated debt, and made disciplined choices. It wasn’t easy — but it was purposeful. And in the end, I finished well.

The Truth Behind the Journey

It wasn’t always like this.

When my position was eliminated on March 5, 2005, I spiraled.

I started my business before I was emotionally ready.

My real estate investments didn’t survive the crash.

My children were young.

My husband was sick and not working.

Life was heavy — and my mind became even louder.

I had to fight through the noise in my head just to stop sabotaging my future. Maybe you’ve been there too. Maybe you’re there right now.

What Matters Is This — You’re Here Now.

It doesn’t matter if it’s been 5 years… 10… 15… or even 20 like me.

What matters is that you’re still standing.

You’re still breathing. You still have purpose.

So, what do you do next?

Start Here:

  1. Breathe. Take in this moment — fully.

  2. Think about what you really want.

  3. Remember what God said.

  4. Write the plan. Even if it takes time.

If it’s debt, it may be a long process — but start.

If it’s income, explore your options — they exist.

If it’s healing, begin with stillness and honesty.

God gave me the tools, insight, and desire to support you. I’ve shared so much already in the earlier blogs — go back. Read. Reflect. Use what you need. And reach out when you’re ready — I want to see you win.

Reflection Questions for Today

  • What moment in your life showed you that God already knew the date?

  • Where are you mentally, emotionally, and financially today?

  • What plan do you need to commit to — even if it takes time?

  • What noise do you need to silence so you don’t sabotage your future?
